The Welsh Ambulance Service has launched a new Medical Information Card for people who are deaf and hard of hearing. The purpose of the card is to aid communication between the deaf person and the ambulance staff in the event of an emergency. The cards will contain personal information as well as information about a person’s medical history, medication, allergies etc.
